AKAMAS<\/h1>\n

The problem: The starting of a slip ring motor (WRIM) is influenced by many factors. However, soft starting of the driven machine is of paramount importance:<\/p>\n

  1. to spare the drive system from high mechanical stress on the one hand.<\/li>\n
  2. and on the other hand also to protect the grid from high current peaks.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The AKAMAS analyzer<\/h2>\n

    With the AKAMAS analyzer, GINO-AKA provides a specially developed tool that measures the rotor currents in two phases of the rotor circuit of slip ring motors and calculates several starting characteristics in real-time.<\/p>\n

    The process<\/h2>\n

    The measurement data of the AKAMAS are logged in a customized software and can be evaluated by the users. In addition, the starting curves and performance indicators are displayed on the integrated touch display.<\/p>\n

    The AKAMAS is the first stand-alone device that provides users with accurate metrological analysis of the startup process. The measurements enable the user to adjust an exact setting of liquid starters to the requirements of the application.
